Job summary

HMP Glenochil in the NHS Forth Valley area seeks an experienced pharmacist to lead and develop the prison pharmacy service across three establishments. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care and be a role model for the team. Cross-site support to HMPYOI Polmont and HMPYOI Stirling is required, with travel across the service area.

The role requires PVG clearance and active engagement with multidisciplinary teams to enhance care for the prison population.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with UK GPhC registration.
• Experience leading pharmacy services in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel across the service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, deliver and evaluate pharmacy services across 3 prisons.
• Provide cross-site support to HMPYOI Polmont and HMPYOI Stirling.
• Provide leadership to pharmacy teams and act as a role model.
• Engage in developing the role of pharmacy within the team.
