Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer for energy transition and security projects in Leatherhead. The ideal candidate will develop electrical power system designs and have experience in large industrial power systems. This role offers a hybrid working model and a contract for 12 months at a rate of £62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a pre-requisite for the roles.
• Experience in power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects is advantageous.

Position Overview

Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer for Energy Transition / Security Projects.

Project: Various

Rate: 62p / hr Outside IR35

Duration: 12 months

Hybrid working 3 days office 2 days remote

Role Summary

I am seeking lead / principal engineer for energy transition and energy security projects to develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design. Demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a pre-requisite for the roles.

Responsibilities

The following experience would be advantageous :

• Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects
• Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency convertors AC / DC UPS systems etc.
• Development of philosophies and specifications
• Input to estimating
• Ability to complete power system studies / calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others
