Job summary

Bath College seeks an experienced Alternative Provision SEND & Learner Support Lead to guide learner support during AP sessions and coordinate multi-agency backing. You will liaise with families, schools and professionals to ensure tailored SEND provision and successful transitions for learners aged 14–16.

Role combines hands-on learner support with strategic coordination, driving engagement, wellbeing and progression planning across the provision.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEND/Additional needs.
• Able to work directly with learners in an Alternative Provision setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct learner support during five AP sessions each week.
• Coordinate information relating to SEND and supported plans.
• Liaise with parents, schools, commissioners and professionals.
• Contribute to learner reviews, transition and progression planning.
• Support attendance, wellbeing and engagement monitoring.
