Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior psychologist to lead a place-based psychology service within Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams. The role combines strategic leadership with a clinical caseload to shape community care and drive service development.

Applicants must have HCPC registration and a doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, with extensive post-qualification experience and supervision qualifications.

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
• Completion of an appropriate clinical supervision course to supervise trainees.
• HCPC registration.
• Extensive post-qualification clinical experience in a relevant setting.

• Provide professional leadership and governance for a specialist psychology service, ensuring safe, effective practice and compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Lead and develop the place-based psychological workforce, including supervision, appraisal, recruitment, workforce development, teaching and mentoring.
• Support students and junior staff.
• Maintain a meaningful clinical caseload.
• Help shape innovative models of care and embed evidence-based interventions.
• Ensure psychological thinking is central to service delivery.
