Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner Psychologist (Band 8a) for the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team in Frimley. You will deliver advanced psychological assessments and interventions within a complex needs framework, while providing clinical leadership to the MDT and supervising junior staff.

Qualifications

HCPC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK.
Experience delivering psychological services in community mental health settings.
Experience supervising junior staff and trainees.

Responsibilities

Deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and interventions for complex mental health needs in community services.
Provide psychological leadership, consultation and expert advice to multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake complex risk assessments and care planning with service users, carers and partners.
Supervise, mentor and train assistant psychologists, trainees and multidisciplinary staff.
Lead service development, quality improvement, audits and research initiatives.
