Lead Practitioner of Science

An "Outstanding" Secondary School in Newham is seeking a Lead Practitioner of Science for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

What will the role of Lead Practitioner of Science entail?
  1. Raising attainment and the quality of learning across KS3-KS4 (KS5 is optional)
  2. Working alongside a very STRONG Head of Department
  3. Leading from the front with passion and enthusiasm for Science

The Head Teacher seeks an enthusiastic individual who can elevate the School's Science curriculum and department. You will receive full support from SLT and the freedom to implement changes where needed.

You will join a school with a significant list of achievements over the past 10 years, surrounded by peers committed to making a difference daily. The school employs current, effective teaching and marking methods that make sense.
