At Ark Charter Academy, we are looking for an inspiring Lead Practitioner of Mathematics to elevate teaching and learning standards across the academy.
About the role:
As the Lead Practitioner of Mathematics, you will play a pivotal role in transforming Mathematics education by supporting and guiding the department to achieve excellence. Your responsibilities will include coaching and mentoring teachers, sharing specialist subject expertise, and leading innovative strategies to enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes. You will also foster collaboration within the academy and across the Ark network, ensuring best practices are shared and implemented. With a focus on enriching students’ understanding of Mathematics in real-world contexts and building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the entire school community.
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers.
