Job summary

Cumberland Council is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to support managers, social workers and child support workers in managing complex, high‑risk cases. This maternity cover role focuses on coaching, mentoring and guiding practice across Children’s Services to uphold high standards and reflect the Professional Capabilities Framework.

You will work closely with team managers to identify and manage risk, promote effective multi‑agency collaboration, and drive continuous improvement in frontline
