Job summary

Luton Borough Council is seeking a CASPA Lead Practitioner to coordinate safeguarding for adults at risk. You will chair multi‑agency meetings, oversee complex casework and drive service improvements across partners to achieve better outcomes.

Applicants must be a qualified Social Worker with 2+ years in complex adult settings, and familiar with Care Act, MCA, MHA and the Human Rights Act. Internal/external applications welcome.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• At least two years' post-qualification experience with adults in complex settings.
• Strong knowledge of Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983 and Human Rights Act 1998.
• Experience of safeguarding and multi-agency working.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
