Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a Lead Practitioner (Senior Early Years Practitioner) to lead a nursery room and support a team of practitioners across the 0–5 age range. This is a full-time role with a 40-hour week and a rate of £14.20 per hour.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering high-quality early education in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years as per government guidelines.
• Experience in leading a nursery room or team is desirable.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities are essential.

• Oversee daily nursery operations and support delivery of high-quality care for children aged 0–5.
• Lead and develop a team of nursery practitioners to deliver education and care.

About The Role

As a Room Leader based within our nursery, you will play a pivotal role within our childcare setting, responsible for overseeing and assisting with the daily operation of the nursery. This role involves leading a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early years education, and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive!

Essential Criteria

As a Senior Early Years Practitioner, you will need to be level 3 qualified or above in correlation to the government guidelines. This role is great for anybody who is a current Qualified Practitioner, and is looking for their next opportunity in the Early Years industry
