Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a Room Leader at Happitots Erskine to oversee daily nursery operations and lead a team of practitioners. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5, with strong leadership supporting a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

This 40-hour-per-week role offers from £14.00 per hour and includes extensive benefits such as referrals bonuses, paid wellbeing days, discounts, counselling, progression

Qualifications

• Leadership and team-management experience in early years settings.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and curriculum delivery for 0–5s.
• Level 3 or higher qualification in childcare or equivalent.

About The Role:

As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role within our childcare setting, responsible for overseeing and assisting with the daily operation of the nursery. This role involves leading a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early years education, and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive!

Essential Criteria:

As a Lead Practitioner, you will need to be level 3 qualified or above in correlation to the government guidelines. This role is great for anybody who is a current Qualified Practitioner, and is looking for their next opportunity in the Early Years industry.
