Job summary

The Grange Medical Practice in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Lead Practice Nurse to lead our nursing team and take first-line responsibility for clinical governance across all nursing services. You will work with the Head of Nursing, Quality and Practice Manager, with protected time for leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

You will deliver immunisations, long-term condition reviews, cervical screening, wound care and oversee nurse-led services.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care nursing.
• Experience leading nursing teams.
• Knowledge of QOF, CQC, infection control.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing team and governance across services.
• Deliver immunisations, wound care and cervical screening.
• Oversee stock control and cold chain management.
• Drive nurse-led enhanced services and improve patient outcomes.
• Support GP partners to improve access and quality.
