Job summary

The University of Cambridge invites applications for a senior administrator to lead the postgraduate and clinical academic programme administration within the School. The role oversees administration for postgraduate studies (PhD, MD, an MPhil, or MRes) and clinical trainees on the Integrated Academic Training pathway, working closely with academic, clinical staff and external partners.

The post holder will act as Secretary to the Postgraduate Operations Committee, report to the Faculty Board of

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience as an administrator, preferably in Higher Education.
• Strong management and team leadership skills with change management ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work flexibly and creatively, independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead postgraduate and clinical academic programme administration.
• Act as Secretary to the Postgraduate Operations Committee.
• Oversee administration for the Degree Committee for Clinical Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
• Maintain relationships with staff, students, NHS partners and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication across the School and University and with Cambridge University Health Partners.
