Birmingham Community Health Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Podiatrist to deliver advanced podiatry care across community and hospital settings in Birmingham. This role focuses on high-risk patients, wound assessment and autonomous clinical practice within a progressive High Risk team.

You will work within the diabetes MDT, sharing expertise across community and secondary care, and contribute to nail surgery and prevention clinics while supporting training and service

Qualifikationen

• Post-graduate experience and training in Diabetes, Vascular and other High Risk conditions.
• Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Provide Highly Specialist Podiatry in community settings within the Trust including community clinics, hospitals, GP surgeries, residential and nursing homes, and patient homes.
• Deliver Highly Specialist Podiatry Services in acute hospital clinics across Birmingham as required.
• Attend presentations, workshops and study days with the diabetes team.
• Promote links with the multidisciplinary team including Consultants, GPs, PNs, DSNs and other healthcare professionals.
• Undertake undergraduate clinical training; ensure referees and contact details are complete; communicate via Trac during shortlisting and selection.
