Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Highly Specialist Podiatrist to enhance the High Risk podiatry service across community settings and acute hospital clinics in Birmingham. The role requires post-graduate experience in diabetes and vascular conditions and the ability to work autonomously as a specialist resource.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate experience in Diabetes, vascular and high-risk podiatry.
• Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Highly Specialist Podiatry in community settings (clinics, homes, health centres).
• Provide services in acute hospital clinics across Birmingham as required.
• Participate in presentations, workshops and study days with the diabetes team.
• Promote links with multidisciplinary team including Consultants, GPs and DSNs.
• Undertake undergraduate clinical training regularly.
