Job summary

Jobline Executive is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a landmark lithium plant project in Cornwall, UK. The role covers design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, with accountability for safety, budget, schedule and quality.

You will manage contracts, costs and risks while coordinating a wide range of technical specialists, regulators and stakeholders, reporting to senior management and the Board.

Qualifications

• ≥5 years' experience delivering major capital projects.
• Client-side PM experience overseeing design and build or EPC contracts.
• A recognised PM qualification (APM PMQ or ChPP).
• A health and safety qualification (NEBOSH or SMSTS).
• Experience with NEC or FIDIC contracts.
• UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project from design through procurement, construction and handover.
• Develop and manage the Project Execution Plan, programme and budget.
• Oversee design reviews, contractor performance and procurement.
• Manage project costs, forecasting, cash flow and payments.
• Monitor milestones, delivery risks and reporting to senior management.
