Job summary

GFSL is seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Plumber to join the Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Coldingley, a category C adult male prison. The role is permanent, 39 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with a salary of £44,688.51 per annum.

You will work alongside skilled colleagues to maintain heating and building services within the prison environment. Applicants should have two years' experience, be familiar with Water Regulations and Legionella controls, and have strong health and safety knowledge for

Qualifications

• Experience working on commercial or industrial heating, water, or building services systems.
• Minimum two years' experience working as a plumber or in an equivalent role.
• Familiar with Water Supply Regulations and Legionella (L8) requirements.
• Good knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) operations and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heating, water, and building services systems in a prison environment.
• Work as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Coldingley.
• Contribute to a safe, secure, and respectful environment while supporting rehabilitation.

Education

NVQ Level 3 equivalent (City & Guilds / EAL / BPEC / ETA)
