Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is hiring a Mechanical Engineer (Level 3) at HMP Springhill. The role requires NVQ Level 3 plumbing qualifications and experience with building service systems to support safe, secure operations.

You will work with a diverse maintenance team to ensure reliable services across the prison environment, contributing to safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualified Plumber.
• Experience with commercial/industrial heating, water or building service systems.
• Familiar with Water supply regulations and Legionella L8 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Facilities Maintenance Team to support safe and secure operations at HMP Springhill.
• Collaborate with Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners and Administrators to deliver maintenance tasks.
