Job summary

Tendable is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to own our platform and data foundations, leading our in-house engineering team. The role focuses on migrating data between two live production systems and building the analytics foundations behind our quality-risk scoring.

You will lead architecture decisions across backend, cloud infrastructure, and data systems, while contributing hands-on to delivery and representing engineering at the leadership level.

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong Node.js and backend expertise.
• Deep GCP experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience building data pipelines and data models for analytics.
• Proficient in SQL and semantic layer tooling (Cube).
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Able to scale analytics infrastructure and manage data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions across backend, cloud infrastructure and data systems.
• Own data model and semantic layer for analytics and scoring.
• Oversee migration between two live production systems with minimal disruption.
• Lead in-house team of five and coordinate external partners.
• Contribute hands-on to engineering delivery and set standards.
