Lead Platform Engineer – Azure Data Services, Terraform, IaC

Market Rate per day (Inside IR35)

Location: London/Hybrid

My client is an instantly recognisable organisation urgently seeking a Lead Platform Engineer with strong experience in Azure Data Services and expertise in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Lead Platform Engineer within Cloud Engineering, focusing on data platforms
2. Expertise in Azure Data Services, including provisioning
3. Strong understanding of Azure Data Factory
4. Knowledge of Data Platform architectures
5. Advanced IaC expertise, particularly with Terraform
6. Good knowledge of container security and compliance
7. Extensive experience with data processing frameworks
8. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads and familiarity with building containers
9. Knowledge of cost optimization techniques within data platforms
10. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
