Franco Manca in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef to lead the kitchen, craft our famous sourdough pizzas, and mentor the team to deliver exceptional service.

You will work hands-on with dough, toppings, and our wood-fired ovens, while supporting the Head Chef to maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency. A passion for pizza, leadership, and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead the kitchen as Senior Pizza Chef, crafting pizzas with care and guiding the team to deliver top service.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
• Mentor and train junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Be hands-on with dough prep, topping pizzas with fresh ingredients, and firing in wood ovens.
• Maintain calm and efficiency during busy shifts to ensure smooth kitchen operation.
• Take responsibility for stock management and food prep to be ready for service.
