Job summary

Durateam-Environmental is looking for an experienced Plumber to join a lead pipework programme in the water sector. You will investigate properties, perform sampling and flushing, and use camera equipment through stop taps to identify pipework material and condition.

You will work as part of a team, under a Water Operative, and must have strong customer service skills plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 Plumbing - essential.
Previous water industry experience.
Experience with lead pipework or lead identification.
Experience with water sampling and flushing services.
Experience using cameras through external stop taps to help identify pipework materials.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
Comfortable working within customer properties and representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

Attend customer properties to carry out investigations to establish whether lead is present within the existing service pipework.
Conduct sampling and flushing services as part of investigations.
Use specialist camera equipment inserted through external stop taps to identify pipework materials.
Carry out plumbing and investigation works as part of a team, under the Water Operative.
Work safely and professionally while representing the company.
