Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Physiotherapist with strong clinical and leadership skills to lead the Stroke/Neuro Physiotherapy Team at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. The post holder will guide physiotherapy provision on the stroke/neurology ward and support the wider department across in-patient wards, leveraging comprehensive neurological expertise and discharge planning acumen.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a physiotherapy setting
• Expertise in stroke/neurology patient management
• Experience with discharge planning and MDT collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead the Stroke/Neuro Physiotherapy Team and oversee inpatient ward physiotherapy provision
• Support wider department across in-patient wards and ensure evidence-based practice
• Supervise and develop junior staff; participate in training, audits and PDPs
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance within the service
