Job summary

Newcastle United Women Academy seeks an Academy Physical Performance Lead to design and deliver evidence-informed athletic development programmes for its players, with a focus on long-term athletic development and injury risk reduction.

You will work closely with coaches, medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to monitor progress, deliver conditioning sessions, educate players on nutrition and recovery, and support rehab and return-to-play when needed.

Qualifications

• BSc in Strength & Conditioning or related field required.
• UKSCA accreditation or current progress toward accreditation.
• Strong knowledge of LTAD principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and review evidence-informed strength and conditioning programmes.
• Conduct physical testing and monitor player progression.
• Support rehabilitation, return-to-play and injury prevention.
• Provide physical performance support during training and matchdays.
• Maintain accurate player records and databases.
