Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy liaison for allocated research teams and represent CTPT at trial steering groups and research forums.
• Manage pharmacy set-up, modification, conduct and close-down of clinical trials.
• Train staff to set-up studies, undertake modifications and apply best practice standards.
• Supervise and develop allocated CTPT members, supporting recruitment, training and workforce development.
• Apply specialist knowledge of clinical trial regulations to support safe management of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
• Communicate expert advice and resolve complex issues.
• Support delivery and continuous improvement of OUH's Clinical Trials Research Portfolio.
• Lead on monitoring visits, audits, inspections, incident investigations and risk management.
• Contribute to safe management of IMPs and medicines used in trials.
• Participate in aseptic clinical trial activities when required.
• Provide and support education, induction, competency assessment and training.
• Promote high standards of patient care, customer service, quality, safety and professionalism.
