Job summary
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced pharmacist to oversee all clinical trials and lead our research and development. You will provide pharmaceutical expertise to the Trust Research and Development Committee and ensure the clinical trial service complies with Good Clinical Practice and legislation.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree or masters level in Pharmacy and registered with GPhC.
- Postgraduate qualification relevant to hospital pharmacy practice.
- Experience delivering clinical education and training in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the provision of the comprehensive pharmacy clinical trial service to the R&D Committee.
- Produce clinical trial procedures in line with protocols, GCP and directives.
- Liaise with pharmaceutical industry reps, clinicians and trial coordinators as pharmacy expert on the R&D committee.
- Ensure pharmacy services are prepared for MHRA inspection and audits.
- Develop and deliver training on medicine issues within Clinical Trials services.
- Lead the research and development agenda within the pharmacy department and transformation programme.
- Provide expert information to senior management to support service development and planning.
