Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a highly motivated registered Pharmacy Technician to join the senior management team in the North Sector. The role focuses on developing pharmacy technical services and leading a large pharmacy team across Gartnavel General Hospital, the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and Vale of Leven Hospital.

Qualifications

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
Post-registration experience in pharmacy.
Broad understanding of pharmacy technical practice.

Responsibilities

Lead and support pharmacy technical services across Gartnavel General Hospital, Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and Vale of Leven Hospital.
Maintain safe staffing levels and workforce planning.
Ensure medicines governance and incident reporting are upheld.
Deliver quality improvement projects and service transformation initiatives.
