NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the clinical pharmacy team, supporting pharmaceutical care and medication histories across hospital and primary care interfaces. You will work with the clinical pharmacist to ensure safe medicines use and smooth patient transitions.
You will liaise with GPs, care homes and colleagues, undertake dispensing duties, maintain documentation, and contribute to ward-based services in line with standards and regulations.

To work as part of the clinical pharmacy team in identifying discrepancies in medication histories and other pharmaceutical issues. To contribute to the pharmaceutical care of patients, and assist the clinical pharmacist in the relevant speciality. In doing this the post holder will comply with relevant standards, guidelines and procedures, health and safety at work and COSHH regulations. To provide a multi-professional approach to pharmacy and prescribing policy issues and ensure that patients derive maximum benefit and minimum harm from their medicines and ensure smooth transition between primary and secondary care boundaries.
