HCA UK is seeking a Lead Medicines Management Technician to join our Pharmacy team across The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC) in London. You will lead a team, oversee medicines reconciliation, counselling and discharge processes, and drive service improvements.
This full-time role requires ACPT accreditation and GPhC registration, with substantial medicines management experience in a hospital setting. You will develop the team and ensure high standards of patient safety.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday-Friday 0900-1730, with contribution to weekend shifts and on-calls on a rota basis

As the Lead Medicines Management Technician, you'll provide leadership and day-to-day operational oversight of our Medicines Management Technician service. Working closely with the Pharmacy Leadership Team, you'll help drive service improvements, support the development of the technical team, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused medicines management service.
You'll lead a team of Medicines Management Technicians, ensuring patients receive accurate medicines reconciliation, evidence-based medication counselling and advice and a seamless discharge experience. You'll also play a key role in workforce planning, training and development, service audits, performance reporting and quality improvement initiatives, helping to ensure our pharmacy services continue to meet the highest standards of patient care and safety.
