Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician for Moorfields Private. You will oversee day-to-day operations, provide technical input on medicines optimisation, and support service developments for private outpatients, laser, paediatric, and day-case services.

The role includes line management of Pharmacy Technicians/ATOs, training rotation Pharmacists, and ACPT responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and line management experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for clinical services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pharmacy Technician in Moorfields Private and oversee daily operational activities.
• Provide technical input into medicines optimisation and service developments.
• Oversee training of rotational Pharmacists and develop the technical workforce.
• Support Moorfields Private Pharmacy Operations and Development Manager in service improvements.
