Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites applications for a Senior Pharmacy Technician - Team Leader in Aseptic Services. Based at Oxford Road Campus (Manchester) with roaming duties to Wythenshawe, you will lead a team and oversee aseptic preparation and supply to patients.

The role progresses from Band 4 to 5 on agreed criteria. Full-time, permanent contract, 37.5 hours, with 1 in 5 Saturdays and on-call on rota. Registration with GPhC is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 / BTEC in Pharmacy Services or Equivalent nationally recognised qualification
• Leeds University Aseptic Preparation of Medicines (APDM) short course
• Relevant post qualification Aseptic Services training and courses
• Registration with the GPhC

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical staff in aseptic services and coordinate preparation and supply of aseptically prepared products.
• Contribute to high standards of patient care and a positive, professional working environment.
• Develop managerial skills to progress within the service.
