Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a pharmacist to lead clinical pharmacy services for Women's Health and Maternity across the trust, ensuring safe, cost-effective and timely care. You will develop services, screen TTOs, supervise a pharmacy team, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with clinical leads to provide patient-centered care.

This role may involve neonatal and paediatric pharmacy capabilities.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Pharmacy required.
• GPhC registered and practicing.
• Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Registered independent prescriber or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and deliver education in pharmaceutical aspects of Women's Health and Maternity to staff.
• Manage junior rotational staff including day-to-day line management and supervise as needed.
• Identify areas for quality and cost improvements in pharmaceutical care and prescribing.
• Develop and monitor KPIs focused on patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Clinical Service Leads and governance teams to build capable ward-based pharmacy teams.
