Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for Surgery to lead a clinical pharmacy service within the surgical division. You will work with medical and nursing staff to reduce medication-related adverse events and formulate action plans to reduce errors and risks in medicines use.

You will oversee the provision of accurate, evaluated information on drug expenditure for surgical specialities and assist managers in optimizing drug budgets.

Formación

• UK Registered
• Substantial UK experience at band 7
• Evidence of team management / leadership skills
• Non medical prescriber or willing to undertake
• Evidence of divisional financial input

Responsabilidades

• Provide advice to medical and nursing staff on the safe, efficient use of medicines and their prescribing and administration, while overseeing supervision and training of Pharmacy colleagues.
• Oversee supervision and training of Pharmacy colleagues; develop training programmes for pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with system partners to improve service provision and share best practice.
