Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals is seeking a Lead Pharmacist to steer the ePMA and Clinical Informatics agenda. This maternity leave cover role focuses on developing and maintaining the ePMA system, ensuring safe, effective medicine use, and driving digital change across the trust.

The postholder will lead IT projects, support catalogue updates, and shape policies for Clinical Informatics in Medicines Optimisation, with opportunities to influence strategic pharmacy IT strategy across

Qualifications

Masters in Pharmacy Degree
1 year pre-registration training; Professional registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of clinical IT programmes with a focus on medicines optimisation.
Lead on the installation, configuration and testing of regular pharmacy catalogue updates to include new medicines
Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures relevant to Clinical Informatics in Medicines Optimisation
Lead all aspects of quality assuring IT software and systems relating to ePMA, including the provision of relevant reports, audits and delivering actions to address any deficiencies or risks.
