Job summary

Glan Clwyd Hospital, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (North Wales), is establishing a dedicated Pharmacy Clinical Trials team. The role leads the service, shaping practice in a growing research portfolio and partnering with managers, clinicians and sponsors to deliver safe, compliant, and patient-centered trial activities.

Qualifications

MPharm degree or equivalent.
Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience/qualifications.
Non-medical prescribing qualification (or in progress).
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Responsibilities

Lead the pharmacy clinical trials service with IMPs oversight across a varied research portfolio.
Review protocols and study set-up; oversee trial medicines and provide specialist pharmaceutical advice.
Ensure regulatory and Good Clinical Practice compliance and contribute to audits, governance and service development.
Collaborate with clinicians, research teams, sponsors and pharmacy colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality trials.
