Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dynamic Play Services Manager for the Babies, Children and Young People division, based at our North Middlesex University Health Unit. The role is offered on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) with a rota pattern agreed on appointment.

You will lead the Play Service, oversee staff, develop care pathways, and work as an advanced practitioner across paediatric settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Health Play Specialist with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in staff management and supervising students.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and CPD documentation.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the management of staff within the Play Service.
• Improve care pathways for patients and their families within the hospital journey.
• Act as an advanced practitioner in clinical areas.
• Lead service development projects and supervise students on practice placements.
• Provide leadership to junior staff and build partnerships with external funders.
