Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pain Physiotherapist to join the award-winning pain service. You will manage your own caseload, assess and rehabilitate patients with chronic pain, and contribute to group education sessions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including anaesthetic consultants, nurses, OT, psychologist, and junior staff, with opportunities for service development and joint clinics.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered physiotherapist with current professional registration.
• Experience in pain management and multidisciplinary care.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate patient care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead pain service within MDT and manage designated caseload.
• Assess and rehabilitate patients with chronic pain and coordinate interventions.
• Contribute to group education sessions and service development.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, OT, psychologist, and junior staff.
