Job summary

Qualifications

• Evidence-based practice for neonates and paediatrics.
• Clinical supervision and support to junior staff.
• Autonomous practitioner delivering assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, co-ordinating and delivering a high-quality SLT service for neonates and paediatrics.
• Provide clinical supervision, training and support.
• Deliver comprehensive SLT assessments and treatments for feeding and swallowing difficulties.
• Work within the MDT to influence patient care plans and act as care coordinator where appropriate.
• Provide expertise and clinical support to other MDT colleagues and students.
