Job summary

UHDB is seeking a compassionate audiologist to provide paediatric clinical care across specialist areas. The role involves working across sites, maintaining records, supervising junior staff and possibly leading a small team.

The successful candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in audiology and be HCPC/AHCS registered, with evidence of ongoing professional development and a commitment to IQIPS accreditation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in audiology (BSc Hons) or equivalent.
• Membership of BAA and/or BSA.
• Recognised qualification in British Sign Language.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in paediatric audiology across one or more specialist areas.
• Maintain clinical records for activities carried out and supervise/train less experienced staff.
• Possibly lead a team within a specialist area and act as point of contact for junior staff.
