Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an on-site Packaging Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Stockton-on-Tees. You will lead packaging projects and continuous improvement initiatives, driving safety, quality, and logistics improvements on site, with autonomy and real site impact.

The role requires strong CAD skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings in a packaging/manufacturing environment. Core hours are 08:00-16:00 with some local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong CAD skills and ability to interpret technical drawings in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering/technical background within packaging or manufacturing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• On-site Packaging Engineer role supporting a major manufacturing site in Stockton-on-Tees.
• Lead packaging engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives (safety, quality, logistics).
• Core hours 08:00-16:00, with flexibility by agreement and occasional local/regional day travel.
