Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer to oversee design engineers working on Overhead Transmission Line projects. The successful candidate will provide technical evaluations, manage project proposals, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The ideal applicant will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and have experience in overhead line engineering up to 400kV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably in Electrical or Power engineering.
• Experience supervising engineering teams on overhead line projects.
• Knowledge of galloping studies and EMF calculations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design engineers specializing in overhead Transmission Lines.
• Provide technical evaluations and solutions within project constraints.
• Prepare project proposals including timelines, resources, and budgets.

Skills

Overhead line engineering experience up to 400kV

Electrical or Power engineering degree

PLS CADD / POLE / TOWER skills

Education
