Job summary

Chiltern Way Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist and Specialist to join our teams across Buckinghamshire and Hampshire. You will help establish and develop a high-quality integrated occupational therapy service across the Trust, leading on innovative provision.

The role focuses on delivering outcome-focused interventions, embedding therapeutic approaches in the curriculum, and training staff. You will work with families and external professionals to support pupils.

Qualifications

• HCPC and RCOT registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience supporting children and young people with ASC or SEMH.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training for staff.
• Committed to evidence-based, functional and outcome-focused practice.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the development and delivery of innovative occupational therapy provision
• Deliver specialist, outcome-focused interventions tailored to pupil needs
• Embed therapeutic approaches across the curriculum to enhance learning and inclusion
• Design and deliver training programmes to support staff development and inclusive practice
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure a holistic, joined-up approach to pupil support
• Provide clinical leadership within your area of expertise
