Job summary

Ocado is seeking a hands-on EPM leader to own and develop the Oracle EPM Cloud platform within its finance function. You will run the end-to-end service, govern changes, and ensure tight controls across Development, UAT and Production environments.

You will guide design, manage the roadmap, and collaborate with Finance to align EPM with budgeting, forecasting and close cycles. This is a senior leadership role in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience owning or managing Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Proven experience leading a technical or application team.
• Experience with optimisation calculation scripts and demonstrable knowledge of Essbase.
• Strong understanding of finance processes (budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, close) and of chart of accounts and hierarchy design.
• Experience running change, release and incident processes in a controlled environment.
• Working knowledge of IT general controls, access management and audit evidence requirements, ideally in a regulated or listed company.
• Experience managing suppliers and technology partners.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly to Finance and non-technical audiences, and Finance topics clearly to technical teams.
• Strong planning and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end EPM service and platform health.
• Maintain availability, performance and data integrity across environments and Oracle cloud updates.
• Govern disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical Finance activities.
• Own the EPM change process and backlog from intake to sign-off.
• Ensure readiness for budget cycles and period-end deadlines with clear ownership.
• Guide solution design and architecture for EPM changes.
• Track Oracle EPM roadmap and advise on adopting new capabilities.
• Act as the accountable owner for IT general controls within EPM.
