Job summary

Sigma, based in Cardiff, is seeking a Lead Oracle Applications Developer to own the full lifecycle of Oracle EBS and APEX projects from requirements gathering through go-live. The role is hands-on in a busy on-site IT team, with visible impact on business processes.

You will design and build modern Oracle APEX applications, support the EBS/R12.2 environment, and lead initiatives with business users. A strong technical and functional background in Oracle is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle APEX is required.
• Ability to own the full project lifecycle end to end, including gathering requirements from business users.
• On-site work in Cardiff five days a week is required.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for Oracle EBS and APEX development at our manufacturing business.
• Enhance, support and optimise our Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environment.
• Design and build Oracle APEX applications, both standalone and integrated with EBS.
• Lead requirements gathering with business users and run projects end to end.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across EBS modules and interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance VB.NET and Python applications.
• Prototype new tools and process improvements.
