Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to lead clinics, deliver high-quality eye care, and support colleagues across the store. You will use the latest testing technology to assess eye health, give expert advice, and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.

You will participate in enhanced services and triage, keep your knowledge current, and play a key role in the store's leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must have GOC registration or be within 6 months of registration.
• Must have NHS performer number or working towards it.
• Strong communication and organisational skills geared toward patient care.

Responsibilities

• Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care.
• Using advanced testing technology to assess eye health and provide advice.
• Supporting enhanced services and triage as required by store needs.
• Providing clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor.
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals.
• Keeping clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others.
• Contributing to store leadership and driving team energy on shifts.
