Job summary

Boots Opticians is hiring an Optometrist to lead clinics, assess eye health with the latest testing tech, and mentor colleagues. You will support enhanced services and collaborate with external healthcare professionals, playing a key role in the store leadership team.

The role focuses on patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence, with opportunities to grow within Boots Opticians and our Franchise Academy.

Qualifications

• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
• NHS performer number (or working towards it)
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
• Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
• Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments
• Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
• Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
• Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift
