Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Optometrist to deliver outstanding patient care using the latest technology. You’ll lead clinics, perform triage, mentor colleagues and support the community with clinical excellence.

You’ll join a collaborative team, stay clinically current, and contribute to leadership within the store, with opportunities for progression through Boots’ development paths.

Qualifications

• GOC registered or expected within 6 months.
• NHS performer number or working towards it.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinics and deliver outstanding patient care.
• Use latest testing technology to assess eye health and advise patients.
• Provide enhanced services from triage to advanced assessments as needed.
• Offer clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with external healthcare professionals.
• Keep clinical knowledge up to date and share it with others.
• Contribute to store leadership and shift planning.
