The Role

You will leverage your extensive knowledge of optical and laser principles to lead R&D projects, handle technical inquiries, evaluate feasibility, and propose work statements. You will present project outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will also have opportunities to manage team members and contribute to business development activities.

Experience

• Broad understanding of lasers and optical systems, including free space and high power lasers
• Ability to interpret complex technical information for diverse audiences
• Experience leading R&D projects, managing resources, budgets, and timelines
• Peer-review experience for reports and presentations
• Optical design experience or familiarity with fibre optics is desirable but not essential
