Job summary

Arm is building a greenfield, multi-tenant private cloud platform based on OpenStack, delivering scalable infrastructure services for engineering teams. You will design, build and operate OpenStack services across environments, drive IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and develop APIs using Python.

You will mentor engineers, improve reliability, and collaborate across compute, networking and storage, adopting platform engineering principles with automation and GitOps.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on OpenStack experience (Ironic, Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Swift, Glance).
• Ansible/Terraform and lifecycle automation experience.
• Programming skills in Python and C; strong Linux internals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate OpenStack services across environments.
• Own IaC modules with Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop platform services, APIs (FastAPI) and automation using Python.
• Drive improvements in reliability, scalability and performance.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Work across compute, networking and storage layers.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction and standards.
