Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Standards Engineer to guide Overhead Lines design and supervise engineering teams. In this role, you will ensure quality standards are met throughout the design phases and lead effective strategies to enhance team performance.

Your leadership will be essential to liaising with clients and maintaining compliance with technical standards, while promoting a positive team environment and supporting green investment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in design, mainly related to Overhead Lines.
• Experience using OHL Design Packages such as PLS-CADD, Tower & Pole, or similar.
• Knowledge of ENA and BSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate company goals to engineers and professionals.
• Lead the team in developing effective strategies.
• Supervise design phases from concept to completion.
• Perform quality control checks on all systems and products.
• Liaise with clients on technical issues.
